Spring School Holidays

Spring school holidays are here, and we got you covered! Hardrock Climbing Gym is the perfect place to get the kids moving, climbing and challenging themselves all holidays long! See below for a snapshot of what’s happening.

Open Throughout the Holidays
Hardrock will be open throughout the spring school holidays, giving kids and families plenty of opportunities to come down for a climb.
The spring holidays run from Monday the 21st of September, to Friday the 2nd of October, and our open hours are as follows:

School Holiday Hours
Weekdays: 11am - 9:30pm
Weekends: 11am - 6:30pm

AFL Grand Final Weekend
Friday 25th September: 11am - 7pm
Saturday 26th September: 11am - 4pm
Sunday 27th September: 11am - 6:30pm

We will be open over the long weekend, but the hours will be adjusted. We are closing early on Grand final eve, and also on Grand Final day. But don’t sweat, you can still come in from 11am for a climbing session before the big game!

School Holiday Programs
Keep the kids entertained with our school holiday climbing programs! Our sessions are designed to introduce kids to indoor rock climbing in a fun, supportive environment, helping them build confidence, develop new skills and make new friends along the way.

Youth Holiday Program Dates:
Wednesday 30th September
Thursday 1st October

Enrolments can be for a single day, or both days as there will be different activities happening each day. Climbers of all experience levels are welcome.

Ready to Climb?
Gather the family and make the most of the spring sunshine (or rain!) with an indoor climbing adventure at Hardrock!

Climbing is for all ages (5+), so great for the kids AND parents! The only age restriction is on belaying (holding the ropes for the climber), where you need to be 11+ years.

We have all the gear (climbing shoes and harness) you’ll need, and our team will teach you everything you’ll need to know during the safety briefing, so even if you’ve never climbed before, we got you!
