Join Our Team of Climbing Instructors at CBD & Nunawading

Do you have an interest in fitness and climbing? Do you love sharing that passion with others? Whether you're a seasoned climber or an enthusiastic beginner with strong people skills, Hardrock is looking for climbing instructors to join our team at both our Melbourne CBD and Nunawading locations.

As an instructor, you’ll be right at the heart of the action — welcoming new climbers, teaching safety and technique, and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What We're Looking For:

We’re on the lookout for friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals who:

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Are passionate about helping others learn
Are confident working with people of all ages (particularly children)
Can work evenings and weekends (flexibility is a plus!)
Prior climbing or instructing experience is great, but not essential — we provide full training!

Your Role Will Include:

Conducting safety inductions and supervising climbers
Running group sessions (including schools, parties, under 11's programs, and corporate events)
Offering encouragement, coaching tips, and technical support
Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and clean climbing environment

Locations Hiring:

Hardrock CBD – 8 Franklin Street, Melbourne
Hardrock Nunawading – 16-18 Varman Court, Nunawading
