In 2021 Climbing had its Olympics debut with the introduction of the Lead, Speed and Boulder sport climbing disciplines. 

At Hardrock Climbing we are invested in developing the future of Australia's climbing stars. 

Our under 11's coaching programs are focused on FUNdamentals using the long term athlete development coaching model. 

Our FUNdamentals program uses fun games and activity participation to develop fundamental movement skills that will later assist them as they progress in the sport and start learning to train.

All levels of previous experience are welcome to join.

At Hardrock CBD & Nunawading, we have developed a special program for your child to discover rock climbing through interactive games.

Suitable for children aged 5-10, this program provides kids the opportunity to develop motor skills, build confidence and discover rock climbing in a fun and interactive environment.

 

Junior Membership Inclusions

  • Free climbing at both Nunawading and CBD venues

  • Free climbing harness & shoe hire

  • 1 x youth coaching session per week on the dates/times listed below

  • 15% discount off non sale items in the Hardrock gear shop

Progressive FUNdamentals

For experienced junior climbers accessible via invite only

Progressive FUNdamentals aims to bridge the gap between the Hardrock Junior and Youth programs.

This session is for junior climbers who have participated in the FUNdamentals program and have demonstrated that they are ready to take their skills to another level in a more fast paced team environment. 

 

Junior Membership Inclusions
