About the Beginners Course
What to Expect
The Beginners Course is aimed at first timers to the sport and those who would like to experience what climbing is all about. An experienced instructor will teach participants the basics of rock climbing, including how to belay (hold the ropes of other climbers) and will give tips on how to improve your climbing in a fun and safe environment.
The session will also include a series of interactive challenges such as speed climbing and a thrilling abseil from our 16 metre pinnacle.
The course is run with 6 - 12 participants, thereby guaranteeing personal coaching time.
Equipment & Pricing
Hire equipment including harness, climbing shoes and chalkbag is included in the cost of the course.
Participants also receive a 15% discount on the purchase of any equipment in the Gear Shop, making this the perfect opportunity to get equipped with a harness and climbing shoes (conditions apply).
This interactive 2½ hour Beginners Course is $110 per person and is suitable for those aged 15 and over.
