We welcome all members of the Scouting and Guiding Associations (recommended age is 8 years and up). The costings for both organisations is $15.00 per person (under 18) and $18.00 per person (over 18's). A $60.00 non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking.

Brownies or Cubs (aged 8-11 years old)
Children aged under 11 may climb, however, due the young age of the participants, we require that leaders provide supervision and assistance to the group as they are too young to do the safety rope work.

Your group requires 1 adult for every 3 Cubs/Brownies. Leaders/assistants are not charged and may only participate in the safety rope work (belaying), they are not permitted to climb.

This activity makes for a good event for bonding with either mothers or fathers, so make it a family night out!

Cubs & Brownie group bookings run for 1.5 hours and the cost per person includes; entry, group instruction, climbing harness hire and climbing shoe hire. There is no charge for leaders assisting with the belaying.

Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Guides (11 year olds and onwards)
Anyone over 11 may undertake the safety work (belaying) for each other, as such Hardrock Instructors will teach everyone within the group all you need to go and climb the walls. The activity is for a total of 2 hours (including instruction time), and again includes all the gear required to undertake this activity.
